Poetry and Pisces

Today, as I was browsing through my Facebook account, I noticed that 2 of my friends who do not know each other both posted their statuses in rhyme form, but it was more like poetry.  Also another friend posted a link to some music he made and I was surprised to hear him sing, as I didn't know that he sang.  This seems like a huge influence of Moon in the sign of Pisces.

Aquarius Moon and the Discovery

A couple of days ago, as the Moon was still in Aquarius, I made a discovery.  Well I finally found the solution to purify my water.  Long story short, the guy who owns the company of a major supplier of the product I found out about is an Aquarius.  It's interesting because Aquarius is "The Water Bearer."

Capricorn Full Moon

Capricorn full moon, is an internal fight for control. There is an internal fight for the Superior.

The Sun is Action, The Moon is Feeling.  The Sun is in Cancer. Cancer's are not afraid to cry.  The moon is in Capricorn. Capricorn is not afraid to hurt someone's feelings if that is what is takes to show them that they are truly the boss.

People can become mountains of emotions that Capricorn climbs to conquer . The dirt that loosens under his hooves, crumbles and trickles down to the bottom like the tears on a Cancer's face glides down the cheeks and dives off the chin.

Is this Planet Vulcan?

I took this picture on Mother's day around 4:30 PM. I was wondering if this is planet Vulcan.  I recently read about this in Linda Goodman's "Love Signs".


It's suppose to be the "true ruler" of Virgo, as Virgo shares planet Mercury with Gemini currently.  Vulcan is supposed to be discovered by now, but it may not be discovered until the Sun is in Virgo.  Well, for now, I'll just say that yes, I shot a photo of Vulcan!

How's Mercury Retrograde Treating You

Mercury went retrograde on March 3oth.   This has actually been a very smooth Mercury retrograde so far! My phone has been working fine, my transportation is nothing to complain about, and I'm on the internet right now, and it's all going smoothly.

The one big thing that I have noticed though that is planet Mercury retrograde related is that I have been going back in the past to retrieve things that I have forgotten about.  I somehow now have the time to finish projects that I started a long time ago or even start projects that were only an idea a long time ago.  

Mercury retrograde is the time to stop and back track before you proceed any further without checking off your list that you made so many yesterdays ago.

Sometimes this is forced upon people by things like, appointments being canceled at the last minute, the cell phone call gets disconnected, their tire goes flat, there computer crashes without warning, they didn't get that email....etc. 

Situations like these will make it seem like a challenge to move forward.  Instead they have to turn back to figure things out and find a different route.

So if you are having one of those "bad" Mercury Retrogrades, don't worry, as sometimes it's just meant to be to forget your keys or you coffee mug inside the store. There's a reason for everything!

Taurus the Gardener

The Moon is in Taurus.  

I wasn't remembering this when I went into the dollar store and got excited about how I could buy 3 packages of parsley seeds for just one dollar.  My first instinct was to go for the flower seeds, but my Virgo Earth Sun sign kicked in and forced me to choose the more practical and healthy choice.  

However, this Moon is urging me to go back to the store to get some pretty flower seeds to plant first thing in the morning.

I really feel like planting something! 

This feeling is stronger than last months Taurus Moon sign because for one thing, it is now spring.  Of course when it is spring, that is the time to plant things and the moon now being in this lovely Earth sign of Taurus which is ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty and lovely surroundings, then how could anyone not Act now under this Ambitious Aries Sun Shine to go with the feeling of the Taurus Moon to make something Pretty come up from the Earth?

Here's my astrological excuse for not writing in this blog for a month:

 When the Sun was at the end of Pisces, I was too caught up in my dreams and fantasies to sit down and write.  I  had too many ideas of what great creative projects I could make come true.  The music was too hypnotic and I had to dance to it.  (symbolic happenings here.)  my spirit had to go on a long inner journey to find itself.  And it did.  Thanks, Pisces Sun!
And then the Sun entered Aries, and I had too much energy to sit down and write!  I had to go on long bike rides and accomplish all the errands and impossible demands I put on myself.  When I did remember to write about astrology, I got stuck in my head!  Aries rules the head where all the senses are, but at the same time I would impulsively jump head first into things, spend all my energy initiating projects but finishing the too many projects was too much to handle.

One thing I did, was buy books.  I couldn't help it.  I would see good deals and buy it!  I like to collect astrology books and books on dreams.  I also buy all types of "spiritual" books that are in good condition and then sell them right away.  "spiritual" books go fast!

Well as you may have noticed while reading this blog entry, I am deeply affected by the astrological seasons.  I see that planning is a weak point during  Aries.  I'd rather just be spontaneous.  A strong point though, is assertiveness.  Aries is not a carpet!  I sometimes have difficulty standing up for myself, but I was surprised at myself the other day; I really was not afraid to let someone know that I was not a carpet!  Thanks Aries Sun for that much needed extra boost of confidence!

This last New Moon In Pisces.

This last new moon in Pisces, the sign that can represent death and spiritual change sure did bring something new for all who are spiritually-minded.
On Tuesday night, March 3rd if you didn't witness something die then you were not observing yourself.  The change is internal even if we are focused on the external.
Death is always a beginning.  It is a completion and also just a turn in something that always continues.

Aries Moon

I neglected to check on the moon these past few days.  But today I got up early when I could have slept in.  I had the energy to take care of some household things with no problem and I finally took the initiative to go out and accomplish something I had been putting off.  Before I saw that the Moon was in Aries today, I looked up some quotes about not thinking too much,but just doing:

These 2 quotes are a perfect fit for this Aries Moon weather shining down on Earth right now!  Use this to your advantage, but be cautious of hastiness that could cause an accident particularly with driving, fire, and sharp things, and also your tongue could be a sharp thing! so allow yourself the insurance of thinking first when it comes to speaking to people. : )

Little Libra in Love

A few days ago I was cleaning a little boy's room who happens to be a seven year old Libra from the end of September.  I saw a few small notes  on his desk that read, " I love you so much Mia, I want to marry you and I love you."  

There were a few of these notes so he must of been in love and writing this a few times maybe planning to give her the note.  I also saw a valentines day card from last year that was from this little Mia saying that she is glad that they are friends.

This was so cute to see a little Libra in love.  That's just like them; ready for marriage at only 7 years old!

 

New Moon

The New Moon is coming!  One thing that I have always noticed that happens during a New Moon is that everybody is cleaning.  

There was a time that I lived in a house with 3 other room-mates and we would wake up and start cleaning our bedrooms and doing all sorts of nitty-gritty chores. It was not planned. We didn't speak about this at all.  I was actually surprised to come out of my room after cleaning it for hours and find that the others had been doing the same. 

Only later I would see that it was a new moon.  This was back when I didn't pay too much attention to the moon so it took me a long time to notice this trend.  

Now it is so obvious.  So many times when I talk to someone on the phone around the new moon, they tell me that they have been cleaing all day or rearranging their furniture, or are "finally" getting organized.
I was just sitting in my kitchen before writing this thinking, "I really should mop the floor....and it would be nice to clean out the clutter in that hallway closet..."  Then I remembered, "Of course, the new moon is coming! No wonder I'm starting to get these ideas "out of nowhere", it's the New Moon!"

So even if I don't get around to it today or tomorrow, I'm sure it will manifest by the 2nd and 3rd day of February, and I will not be surprised when I hear of others also making their house like new.  

After all, the Moon does rule the home. It will be interesting to see what the Aquarius new moon will bring into the home as it is a sign of originality and inventions.

The Unmistakable Birthday Power!

Welcome Aquarius Sun!  

I had the pleasure of celebrating the start of the Sun of Aquarius on the night of January 21st by attending a double birthday party of 2 of my brother in laws.  One of them was born on the 21st and the other, on the 22nd and they were turning the same age.  

There was eight of us all together for this birthday get-together, so we decided to play a card game.  The game was called, "Signal". After a couple of fun rounds we changed partners and the 2 birthday boys became partners.
They won.  And then they won again. I them told them in a sarcastic kind of way, "Oh, you're just running off of that birthday luck!"

But then they won again!  And we all joked saying, "We are just letting you guys win because it is your birthdays!"  Actually this was not true.  It's not the kind of game that you could just 'let' others win.
When they won a fourth time in a row, this was becoming amazing.

One of the birthday boys, the one who's birthday is on the 22nd said, "It is almost midnight, and at that time, the power of our birthdays will be combined, and we will defeat you all!"
It was quite dramatic and amusing indeed, but the atmosphere was not serious at all as we just kept on laughing.

Then the birthday boys went in secret to come up with a new signal.
When they came back, the cards were dealt and after only a couple of minutes the dog, that went outside, barks, and the first birthday boy calls out, "Signal!" and the cards of the other birthday boy are thrown down and he has it! 

We are all shocked!  We ask, "How did you guys do it?!" And they say that because of the Power of their Birthdays combined, they just both "knew" that when the dog would bark then that would mean one of them would have the right cards.

Unbelievable!  They put trust into a random event to mark the perfect time! All with having absolute faith of having "The Birthday Power" on their sides!


By the way, these guys are in no way clairvoyant or into any type of psychic stuff as far as I know, so this was just pure miracle!

Full Moon in Cancer!

The Full Moon is in Cancer tonight.  

Well first of all the Sun has been in Capricorn for the past 28 days.  Capricorn is all about responsibilities and reaching the top of the ladder no matter what activity or business you are into, it's got to be top notch. 

It has been very acceptable and highly suggested to be a workaholic these past 4 weeks.

Even the pan handlers on the street are meaning business, and people on vacations are seriously relaxing in ways that makes it seem like hard work, striving to reach the peek of their relaxation. 

Also, Capricorn season started off just the day after an Eclipse of the Full Moon on December 22nd, so that is intensity upon intensity, and this night it has come Full Circle. If you have not been sleeping very much this past month, it is totally normal as "sleep" is usually not in Capricorn Sun's planner.

Now imagine a bird racing around, zipping here and there, and everywhere, gathering sticks to make her nests.  The drive is for comfort and privacy even though they appear to be totally "out-going" and social it's all about the security of home and family. That is the Moon in Cancer.  

But while this moon phase is opposed to the setting of the Capricorn Sun, there is a vibe that could make one feel TORN, between going out, willingly sacrificing their "comfort zone", to be ambitious and successful about everything in the public eye OR needing to stay home and make everything comfortable and perfecting and protecting their private life.

The statement I give for this full moon is, 

"Taking care of business at home like you're getting paid for it!"

And personally, this sun and moon combination must have a lot to do with the fact that I "mysteriously" felt like finally reviving and updating this astrology blog.

It's "Serious Business"(Capricorn Sun) and I am
"Peacefully at Home"(Cancer Moon). :-)

No. There is Not a 13th Zodiac Sign

That "13th sign" Ophiuchus, is a constellation that has always been there like the Big Dipper . One of its stars is between Scorpio and Sagittarius on the ecliptic, but it is not part of the Zodiac. 

Easily, that one star, thousands of years ago, could have been decided to actually belong to constellation Scorpio, but it is closer to be connected to Ophiuchus.

It is not part of the Zodiac though.  This is just media garbage to get people stirred up in my opinion.  

I will not be surprised if we soon see, “ 14^th sign!“Auriga” and have an internet news report to describe Auriga being between Taurus and Gemini and that now everybody born between May 9^th and June 2^nd is an Aurigas! 

Lol ! and then watch everybody panic and spread this “news” like a wild fire.  
(“Oh no, I’m not a Taurus, but now I am an Aurigas!” and “Oh no, I’m not a Gemini, but I am now an Aurigas!”) 

And then we can all  go and look up the mythology of Aurigas and try to apply it to ourselves who are born between those dates…..

Professional astrologers are laughing at this and feeling sad for people who have right away fallen for this.
