Jupiter and Sun Conjunct, Transits my Ascendant

So Yesterday, May 14th the Sun was at 23 degrees Taurus which is the degree and sign of my ascendant. Also Jupiter was at this very same degree. The Sun does this once a year, but Jupiter does this only once every 12 years. So for these two planets to be conjunct here is like a big deal. The days and perhaps months leading up to this I in-visioned that I would receive some sort of glory in my life. I don't even think I'm exaggerating here, I admit! lol But yesterday was a regular-old day for me. It was a day like it has been these past couple of weeks. I slept in ans stayed at home doing odd things like spending too much time on youtube and slowly cleaning my house that I got so messy. You might even say that I have been lazy. Though that is not true because five days ago I went on a nearly 30 kilometer spontaneous bike ride and the day before I did a lot of work in the garden. I was out in the Sun for hours using lots of muscle power to dig and transplant onions. I guess the Sun and Jupiter hanging out in Earth sign Taurus may have something to do with it. yes, that's got to be it. Also, Taurus is a bit of a home body so there you have it: the reason why I am playing in the dirt and then staying at home. Another interesting thing is that my home Sun is in Virgo which is also an Earth sign and my home Jupiter is in Capricorn, which is the other of the 3 Earth signs. So what I am doing now is trying to understand this current Jupiter transiting my ascendant. I figure that since this is a very big and slow moving planet that perhaps the full effect won't br realized right away. After all, it is in Taurus and Taurus is patient.

People can become mountains of emotions that Capricorn climbs to conquer . The dirt that loosens under his hooves, crumbles and trickles down to the bottom like the tears on a Cancer's face glides down the cheeks and dives off the chin.
