Venus Transits the Sun

This was so beautiful to see with my own eyes! I made my own solar eclipse glasses and was awestruck when I first noticed that little dot passing over the sun. At about 6:30 PM EST on June 5, 2012 I got to see this once-in-a-life-time event. I missed the one in 2004 because I wasn't aware of it. I didn't pay much attention to astronomical events at that time even though I really liked astrology, but I will quote myself in a recent discussion about the 2004 Venus transit: "I remember the one in 2004. I definitely went through a huge shift in my consciousness. I suddenly started meeting with events & people in rare chance opportunities in which the resulting interactions brought about doorways that opened up to new dimensions of being."

So that sums up my experience for 2004, but can I say the same for this year?  Well, I'll have to pay attention to the details of my life and wait and see.
But here is something interesting that I still have yet to analyze:
The day before this, on Monday, June 4, 2012, I was introduced to a girl who's birthday is 3 days after mine and who is also 3 years older than me.  Her interest and depth of knowledge upon astrology is similar to mine!  This was really cool because I have never met anyone with the same amount of interest and knowledge of astrology as myself.  I'm sure we will become good friends, and I feel like this is part of what the Venus transit has brought into my life.  Also this girl looked just like a girl in my dream the night before which was a dream about acquiring the right flowers in  a flower shop......
Then less than an hour later, one of my friends gave me 40 dollars that she owed me, but in which I nearly forgot all about, so it was  a surprise to get some "extra" cash that night.  Then on my way home I was passing by a flower shop that was closed and it was trash day and in one of the bins were numerous bouquets of flowers!  I took two bouquets and they looked similar to the ones in my dream from the night before.
I had this feeling that this was an act of Venus; giving me a friend, money, and flowers, all within 2 hours!  My lucky day I guess.  But what is luck if not just an auspicious placement of the planets in the sky in relation to your natal chart?

I still have yet to analyze much about this Venus business.

Jupiter and Sun Conjunct, Transits my Ascendant

So Yesterday, May 14th the Sun was at 23 degrees Taurus which is the degree and sign of my ascendant. Also Jupiter was at this very same degree. The Sun does this once a year, but Jupiter does this only once every 12 years. So for these two planets to be conjunct here is like a big deal. The days and perhaps months leading up to this I in-visioned that I would receive some sort of glory in my life. I don't even think I'm exaggerating here, I admit! lol But yesterday was a regular-old day for me. It was a day like it has been these past couple of weeks. I slept in ans stayed at home doing odd things like spending too much time on youtube and slowly cleaning my house that I got so messy. You might even say that I have been lazy. Though that is not true because five days ago I went on a nearly 30 kilometer spontaneous bike ride and the day before I did a lot of work in the garden. I was out in the Sun for hours using lots of muscle power to dig and transplant onions. I guess the Sun and Jupiter hanging out in Earth sign Taurus may have something to do with it. yes, that's got to be it. Also, Taurus is a bit of a home body so there you have it: the reason why I am playing in the dirt and then staying at home. Another interesting thing is that my home Sun is in Virgo which is also an Earth sign and my home Jupiter is in Capricorn, which is the other of the 3 Earth signs. So what I am doing now is trying to understand this current Jupiter transiting my ascendant. I figure that since this is a very big and slow moving planet that perhaps the full effect won't br realized right away. After all, it is in Taurus and Taurus is patient.

Poetry and Pisces

Today, as I was browsing through my Facebook account, I noticed that 2 of my friends who do not know each other both posted their statuses in rhyme form, but it was more like poetry.  Also another friend posted a link to some music he made and I was surprised to hear him sing, as I didn't know that he sang.  This seems like a huge influence of Moon in the sign of Pisces.

Aquarius Moon and the Discovery

A couple of days ago, as the Moon was still in Aquarius, I made a discovery.  Well I finally found the solution to purify my water.  Long story short, the guy who owns the company of a major supplier of the product I found out about is an Aquarius.  It's interesting because Aquarius is "The Water Bearer."

Capricorn Full Moon

Capricorn full moon, is an internal fight for control. There is an internal fight for the Superior.

The Sun is Action, The Moon is Feeling.  The Sun is in Cancer. Cancer's are not afraid to cry.  The moon is in Capricorn. Capricorn is not afraid to hurt someone's feelings if that is what is takes to show them that they are truly the boss.

People can become mountains of emotions that Capricorn climbs to conquer . The dirt that loosens under his hooves, crumbles and trickles down to the bottom like the tears on a Cancer's face glides down the cheeks and dives off the chin.

Is this Planet Vulcan?

I took this picture on Mother's day around 4:30 PM. I was wondering if this is planet Vulcan.  I recently read about this in Linda Goodman's "Love Signs".

It's suppose to be the "true ruler" of Virgo, as Virgo shares planet Mercury with Gemini currently.  Vulcan is supposed to be discovered by now, but it may not be discovered until the Sun is in Virgo.  Well, for now, I'll just say that yes, I shot a photo of Vulcan!

Well, I thought I'd just share this!
